Seminar by renowned psychiatrist and counselor Dr. Thomas V. Thomas
Dr. Thomas V. Thomas, psychiatrist and counselor from U.S.A. visited STOTS Nagpur and led sessions on mental disorders and common psychological problems based on several case studies. He led sessions on Mental Disorders, and anger management. The sessions were interactive with discussions and fruitful for competence in Christian ministry.

3-day Leadership Seminar
STOTS organised a 3day leadership seminar in cooperation with Haggai Institute at STOTS, Nagpur from 17-19th September, 2012. Various international and local faculty members led the sessions. H.G. A call to Mission
The first satsangh of the second semester of the academic year 2012 – 13 of STOTS was held on 28th November. The Satsangh centered upon the missionary activities carried out by the ecumenical Theological Seminary of Lanka and Bible translation mission carried out by Dr. Christopher Vaaz.
First Satsangh Meeting of 2013
The first SATSANG meeting of the second semester held on 29 January 2013, was led by His Grace Dr. Yuhanon Mar Milethus, Metropolitan (Trichur Diocese). The theme for the day was “God who works in History”. His Grace presented a versatile GOD who works through His people in the history. He very well articulated the heinous Delhi gang-rape issue and also suggested concrete steps as plan of action against such crimes. The students also shared their ideas and clarified doubts making it an interactive platform for healthy discussions.
Satsangh conducted for 2012
Yet another satsangh was organized on 12/09/2012, which was led by H.G Abraham Mar Seraphim. The topic for satsangh was ‘The Relevance of Alternative Ministries’. Mar Seraphim put forward an interactive session giving details and options for alternative ministries such as Youth, rural and e-ministry.

Kerala has produced great gurus like Sri Sankaracharya,Sri Narayana Guru,Nitya Chaitanya Yati, Dr.Paulos Mar Gregorios etc. The name of H.G. Geevarghese Mar Osthathios, the senior bishop of Malankara Orthodox Church, can also be included in such a list. He is a Great Guru who has synthesized the ways of jnana(wisdom), bhakti(Devotion to God), and karma(acts of love)and it is not easy to find out which among them is the strongest in him.
Feast day at St.Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary
Nagpur, Kalmeshwar: The feast of martyrdom of St.Thomas, the Apostle of India is being celebrated as feast day at St.Thomas Orthodox Seminary. The feast celebrations would begin on 20th evening, 07:00 pm. The Holy Feast mass would be celebrated on 21st morning at 07:00am. The chief celebrant for the feast celebrations would be H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Demetrios, Metropolitan of Delhi. Main events include feast mass, procession, Marathi devotional address by Rev. Fr. Manish Matai and cultural programs. All are co-cordially invited.
Foundation Stone laid for 'Upasana' Building
The foundation Stone for ‘Upasana’ - the Dream Project of St.Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary was laid by H.G. Geevarghese Mar Coorilose. The occassion was graced by the presence of H.G.Mar Yulios, members of the whole seminary, family and guests. Upasana will consist of a conference hall in the name of H.G.Stephanos Mar Theodosius, a dining hall and kitchen, and dormitories and rooms. The financial costs for the project is expected to be around Rs. 1.5 crore.
